This privacy policy is intended to inform you how personal data concerning you (hereinafter referred to as « Personal Data ») is collected, processed, and stored by Sonic Odyssey – Sole Proprietorship, headquartered at Neckarstraße 22B, 12053 Berlin (hereinafter « Sonic Odyssey »), in his capacity as data controller.
Sonic Odyssey is highly committed to respecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your Personal Data and is dedicated to processing your Personal Data in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, specifically Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, as well as Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Information Technology, Data Files, and Civil Liberties, in its current version (collectively referred to as the « Applicable Regulation »).
Sonic Odyssey reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, in whole or in part. You will be notified of any changes by any available means.
- Data Collected and Purposes
When you submit a contact request through Sonic Odyssey’s website at: https://www.sonicodysseymusic.com/#contact, when you join Sonic Odyssey, send a donation, volunteer, are contacted by Sonic Odyssey, participate in events organized by Sonic Odyssey, or provide products or services to Sonic Odyssey, your Personal Data is processed by Sonic Odyssey in the following cases:
- To respond to your information requests submitted via the contact form, based on Sonic Odyssey’s legitimate interest in responding to inquiries;
- For managing your partner relationship, based on Sonic Odyssey’s legitimate interest in managing and developing a network of partners within his activities;
- When you participate in events organized by Sonic Odyssey as a participant, based on Sonic Odyssey’s legitimate interest in organizing events and ensuring their proper conduct, and on your consent when Personal Data related to your health (physical or mental) is provided to Sonic Odyssey. Sonic Odyssey reserves the right to deny access to certain events where sensitive data is essential to ensure your safety and that of your peers;
- For managing your supplier relationship with Sonic Odyssey, based on the contract you have with Sonic Odyssey.
- Recipients of Your Personal Data
In principle, Sonic Odyssey does not share your Personal Data with third parties, except for partners who may need access to Personal Data in the context of jointly organizing events.
Additionally, for the processing purposes described above, your Personal Data may be communicated to our service providers, particularly IT providers (storage/hosting, CRM, emailing, etc.), couriers, suppliers for printing invitations to events, and potentially any external advisors (lawyers, etc.).
Sonic Odyssey does not transfer your Personal Data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
- Data Retention
Your Personal Data is stored by Sonic Odyssey for the duration necessary for the processing purposes, specifically:
- If you are a partner: your Personal Data will not be retained beyond five (5) years from your last contact with Sonic Odyssey;
- If you are subscribed to Sonic Odyssey’s newsletter, your Personal Data will be kept until you express your wish to unsubscribe;
- If you are a participant in an event organized by Sonic Odyssey, your Personal Data will be stored for a maximum of two (2) years from your last participation in a Sonic Odyssey event;
- If Sonic Odyssey has contacted you for a market study, your Personal Data will be retained until the completion of the study report. The Personal Data collected in such studies will then be anonymized by Sonic Odyssey;
- If you are a supplier to Sonic Odyssey, your Personal Data will be stored for five (5) years from the end of your business relationship with Sonic Odyssey.
- Exercising Your Rights
Under the Applicable Regulation, you may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Right to withdraw consent: When the processing of your Personal Data is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time;
- Right of access: You can obtain information about the nature, origin, and use of the Personal Data concerning you. If your Personal Data has been shared with third parties, you can also obtain information regarding the identity or categories of recipients;
- Right of rectification: You can request that inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data be corrected or completed;
- Right to erasure: You can request the deletion of your Personal Data, particularly if the Personal Data is no longer necessary for the processing carried out. Sonic Odyssey must delete the Personal Data as soon as possible, except in cases provided for by regulation;
- Right to restrict processing: You may request that your Personal Data be temporarily inaccessible to limit future processing in situations provided for by the Applicable Regulation;
- Right to object: You may object to certain processing of your Personal Data for reasons related to your particular situation unless there are legitimate and compelling reasons for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. You may also object to the processing of your Personal Data at any time without reason for direct marketing purposes;
- Right to data portability: Where applicable, you can request to receive the Personal Data you have provided to Sonic Odyssey in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format;
- Right to issue instructions regarding your Personal Data after death: You may communicate instructions on how your Personal Data should be handled after your death.

If you believe that Sonic Odyssey is not complying with the Applicable Regulation regarding the management of your Personal Data, you may also file a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL), located at 3 Place de Fontenoy – 75007 Paris.
